I’m Prudence Breitrose (pronounced Bright-Rose) and I grew up in the part of England where Winnie-the-Pooh once roamed. I now live in California, where I worked as a health-education writer until I had a dream that confused computer mice with the real thing. That got me started on this novel, which is my first.
See my blog here. Or email me at pbreitrose@gmail.com.
Here’s an interview with me in the San Jose Mercury.
And see Cynthia Leitich Smith’s excellent blog for an account of a) the research that went into Mousenet, and b) how I found an agent. (Spoiler alert: it took a while.)
I travel quite often, accompanied by my feet.
